These
journals are for the trainees to share their
experiences in training -- whether in school, on the
road with a trainer or on the road during the first
year.
If you're
interested in keeping a Trainee Journal, and think the
following rules work for you, please continue reading
and fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
Rules & Other Info....
-
Profanity, etc... Not! It has to stay
clean. No cussing and carrying on.
-
You
may use names -- such as the name of your school
and/or company, but must use good judgment as to
what you say about them. This site is in no
way responsible for the content of any trainee
journal! This site does not agree nor disagree
with the content of any trainee journal.
-
Consistent entries are important. Please
try to input something at least every week.
Journals with only an entry or two will eventually
be deleted.
-
Privacy: You won't be required to identify
yourself to those who read your journal by anything
other than your first name. You may choose
whether or not to show an email address.
Please don't bother to post an email address if you
won't be responding to any mail you may get, though.
-
Editing: Your journal entries will be
checked for spelling and grammar. They are
subject to editing as well, though unless there is
something questionable, this site does not want to
edit your entries other than for clarity,
punctuation, etc.
Your
entries WILL go live on the web as soon as you enter
them. The webmaster will be able to edit them
for you if you make a mistake, but that could take up
to a week to get done so be sure of what you're typing
in!
Anyone who
sets up a journal just to input unacceptable entries
will naturally have their page deleted and IP address
banned.
If you are not
sure that you will be able to keep a journal, please
reconsider...
It requires an enormous amount of
work on the part of this website to set up and
maintain journals. When journal keepers do not
enter anything -- or enter only one or two entries
-- it effects the entire Trainee Tales journal
because it takes away time from the other journals.
If you decide you do not have the
time, energy or inclination to maintain a journal
you've had set up, just say so. I strongly
prefer it if you will please let me know you do not
want to do a journal than to have an incomplete or
never started journal presented to site visitors.
This following information
is needed to set up your journal.
